Using the exhibition apartment, the BASF Group's company philosophy was made visible and tangible. The company's "three-dimensional visiting card" was developed with the help of the expert use of BASF products. Walking around the pavillion, the observer is intended to get an impression of the spatial and thermal qualities of the building and influence his/her feeling of comfort.

After the motto "Understanding by Feeling" and "Environmental Protection with Comfort", the main features of the building's design were explained and the relationship between design, materials and wellbeing were presented in an understandable fashion.
